Khulasande Sports Rural Development

The athletes have been training well in preparation for the track and field athletics season - they took part in two pre-season competitions already and held their own in the respective events. They will compete on 16 Oct (Gqeberha), 20 Oct (Humansdorp) and 30 Oct (Gqeberha).

Since our donation, they have also received support from Future Life, who has provided 10kg bags of Future Life for the beneficiaries, to provide them with a good start to each day for the next 3 months.

Additionally, six beneficiaries travelled to Amanzimtoti to participate in the national cross country championships on 18 September where they gained valuable experience against the best athletes in their age groups.

So far, they have spent R500 of the donation and have a balance of R9500.

This amount will be used extensively during the month of October to assist the group from Addo to travel to the competitions in Gqeberha and Humansdorp.
